Things to do

Getting there

Turn off RN 40 at Bajo Caracoles: it's 75 km of gravel towards the Andes. In summer you can also get there from Los Antiguos on Route 41 (the Monte Zeballos road), which may close due to snow in winter. Road conditions: check before you travel at Prensa Santa Cruz – Estado de rutas (Vialidad).

According to Turismo Ruta 40 there is fuel in the village, but not always: arrive with a margin. Tourism office: Av. San Martín 50.
